Cooperative Education is a formal program providing alternating periods
of work and study. The term of the East Alton Co-op session is eight months with
two sessions per year: January through August; and May through December. This
program allows students to get a head start on their careers. They are provided
with meaningful work assignments, competitive salaries and some key benefits.
For example, tuition is provided for one class each semester while the student
is working at Olin.
