  4. Why are most Winchester 270 loads listed under CXP2 classification?

    Winchester has assigned the most common CXP rating to each of our rifle products. However, many of these products actually have much broader applications.

  5. Why is the profile of the bullet that I have different from that of the one in the photo in the Winchester Product Guide?

    Since the Super-X® line of ammunition is loaded in so many different calibers, it is important to keep in mind that the bullets must be tailored with different shapes for different rifle types.

    Actually, the improved accuracy is due to the profile of the BEB bullet which is essentially a truncated cone profile known for high accuracy.
