Matarese Crowned Champion of 2022 NSCA Championship Tour Powered by Winchester

EAST ALTON, IL (November 14, 2022) — The 2022 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester, concluded in October at the NSCA National Championships.

Team Winchester members lined the podium including Anthony Matarese, who claimed the yearlong points race. The 2022 NSCA National Champion, Zach Kienbaum, finished runner-up, while 2021 NSCA National Champion, Joe Fanizzi, locked up third on the podium.

On the Junior side, Fanizzi took top honors, while Connor Daniel was the Sub-Junior Champion. Kayla Wilgus also finished runner-up in the AA class points race.

The Winchester Ladies Cup coincides with the tour, and the ladies class champion was Karen Shedd, with Madison Sharpe and Haylyn Hanks taking second and third respectively.

The 2023 Championship Tour begins in March with the U.S. Open Sporting Clays in Tucson, AZ. Sport shooters of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate. The Championship Tour highlights the best clubs, sport shooters and hospitality our sport has to offer. We look forward to seeing you all again during next year’s tour.
